These rules may leave out someone you would like to include – for instance, if you live with a partner, they would not automatically be included and may need to pursue a claim through the courts, which can be very costly and time consuming, all at the worst possible time.

Making a Will is straightforward, but there are various legal requirements, and the will can be invalid if these requirements are not met. It is therefore very important that you make a Will, and that it is drawn up by someone who understands the various rules and regulations to make sure that what you want to happen actually happens.
